Area(s) of practice

SOPHIA SPALA’s main areas of practice are intellectual property rights and marketing law as well as EU and competition law. In intellectual property rights and marketing law, Sophia mainly handles matters concerning trademarks and copyright as well as advertising and marketing issues. Sophia is experienced in handling complicated disputes in these legal areas. In the field of EU and competition law, Sophia primarily handles matters concerning antitrust, free movement and public procurement. Sophia has experience from assisting both procuring authorities and suppliers in all stages of the procurement process and works continuously with proceedings as strategic advisor in the field of public procurement. Sophia is also engaged as lecturer on the subject of public procurement.
