As a student, it can be useful to get some insight into the work of a business law firm. Employment with us as a summer trainee will give you an opportunity to try out the legal profession at one of our offices. During a 6-8 week period you will work practically with legal research, drafting contracts, meetings and other activities together with experienced lawyers. You will be appointed a supervisor and a mentor, both of whom will give you a professional introduction to the firm and guide you in your work. You will take part in our social activities and get an opportunity to build a network with a great number of skilful lawyers.
So that you can get the most out of your time with us, we would like you to have completed at least six terms at law school. We recruit on a continual basis but to be sure that you are included for selection, we would like your application no later than 1 February.
Your application for a position as summer trainee must include the following:
- covering letter
- CV
- grades from law school or
- certification and grades from courses completed at law school
- certificate or grades supporting other qualifications/experience.
