As a lawyer, there are opportunities for secondment both inter-office and externally with a client or firm abroad. Those starting with us, who have not completed their court service, will be granted leave of absence to do so because we see this as a decisive part of your development. During the first year of employment at the firm, you will follow the basic education programme which will provide you with the fundamental knowledge you will need as a business lawyer. This covers everything from business administration and legal English through to due diligence and basic tax law. Specialist education also takes place on an ongoing basis within our practice groups and in line with the goals set up with your supervisor.

Setterwalls’ administration includes assistants, IT, marketing, finances, HR, office services, reception, library and conference. These are all important functions which in different ways support and streamline working methods and procedures so that the entire company becomes competitive and strong.
